Relationship Advice For Men

A relationship between two people can be a wonderful thing. However, there is usually always room for improvement. Many people (including men!) seek out advice on relationships to discover ways to keep their relationship alive, or to recreate that spark that has somewhat faltered. Here's some relationship advice for men.

There are many different approaches one can take to improving his or her relationship. However, sometimes it is difficult to devise those strategies on your own. Never fear, there is plenty of relationship advice out there to be had. That said, don’t think all advice is ‘good advice’ – advice is very personal and subjective; what works for some folks doesn’t necessarily work for others. The key factor to consider in taking advice is be guided by what experience others have had from the person giving the advice. Always try to ‘take advice’ from someone who has been recommended.

Below is some advice from us on what we’ve learned about relationship advice for men in the form of 5 quick tips:

Tip #1: Take the time to write down all the wonderful things that you love about your partner. Then, pull it out and read it when you are having a rough spot. Reading about the positives will help motivate you to put more effort into your relationship.

Tip #2: During arguments, avoid negative statements such as, "You never.." or "You always…". These type of statements are unfair and will get you nowhere with your partner. You should think of positive ways to voice your concerns, and use "I" statements.

Tip #3: Take the time to send a text message or an email to your partner that simply says, "I love you". The smallest gesture can often mean the most.

Tip #4: Wait for a good time to discuss serious issues with your partner. Things will go much more smoothly if your partner is not irritated, tired or disgruntled.

Tip #5: Remember that a successful relationship takes the effort of both partners. Relationships are always a work in progress.

You may know other guys, in a relationship or marriage, who may be able to offer you relationship advice for men. Many times, you will probably hear some of the same advice or tips that were offered above. You will need to decide which pieces of advice you think will work for you and your partner, and then apply them.

The interesting thing is that if your partner loves and respects you, she will likely follow your lead and begin to be more positive, loving and communicative. This is a win-win situation for both involved. Hope you've found this relationship advice for men useful.

Catch Him and Keep Him is clearly one of our favourites.

So many men...but where are all of the quality men? Are there any good ones left or are they all married?

Most of the guys in my (Louise's) past were boring or worse - many were "players" and cheated, were emotionally abusive or distant, or dumped me for no reason.

Sound familiar?

We found a lot of solace and real guidance in T W Jackson's The Magic of Making Up.

One of the refreshing aspects of The Magic Of Making Up was that it was not the "same ol, same ol." In other words, it wasn't another rehash of old advice on making up which generally runs along the lines of "give it time."

The Woman Men Adore ...and Never Want to Leave is a popular guide written by Bob Grant. The ebook claims that it can help you draw your man to you, but can it really work?

The book promises to offer value to just about any woman by revealing how to use tools and assets that they already have to attract the kind of man they want or to improve their current relationship. We're sure that every woman on the planet would want the book if it is as it says, but does the book really deliver what it promises?
